What do you do with a few thousand square miles of parched, barren wasteland filled with nothing but deadly rattlers, coyotes, gila monsters and a few poison dart frogs? You f#$king race it!
Jesse's Trophy Truck has hurtled the West Coast Choppers iron cross over the most punishing deserts of Mexico and the Southwest at more than 120mph long enough to drain more than a few personal bank accounts. Far from the sold-out stands and conveniently paved parking lots of Sunday afternoon roundy-round racing, the Trophy Truck circuit attracted Jesse's keen appreciation for a good old-fashioned ass-kicking with 4-foot whoops, 30-foot launches, brain-broiling temperatures and track surfaces known to devour weekend dune buggies.
Only the strong or the insane head off across the desert searching for glory and the West Coast Choppers machine has barreled through 1000-plus mile courses with the strength of 800-plus horsepower and a Virgin Mary on the dash for good measure.
You'll probably never grow the stones to follow Jesse and his team deep into Mexico for a race this season, but don't worry - he'll be racing the full schedule through Arizona, Nevada and California, too. So watch for the dust clouds on the horizon and pack some sunscreen, extra water and a kidney belt. You're gonna need it.
